The Blog
thescarfer.net™ is a rebranding of the former Gentle Ethereal Musings.

Initially when I first started this blog under its former name (and moved from the blogger.com platform), I did not exactly have a real purpose aside from using this as an online diary of some sorts. Over time, and through some testy periods, this grew into something bigger, and you could say, better and more focused.

Today thescarfer.net™ showcases snippets from many facets of my life, but most of which revolve around food, knitting and naturally, my rather strong opinions on social/political issues - reviews, recipes, discoveries, tips and even thoughts are the classic formats for these entries.

I hope to craft read-worthy entries that are peppered with humour, personality and above all, creativity. Do not be surprised to see some beginnings of my journey in photography - I intend to brush up on this very rusty skill of mine!

I’m just another Malaysian wife out there who is trying to adjust to life as an expat’s wife in Europe. To kill time, I blog and run an online store here selling handdyed yarn & rovings plus handwoven scarves - yes, I hired myself. I also knit, cook, spin, dye and weave…I’m a pretty busy lady!
