Hugs to you, Mama!

Loved this entry, and the previous one too. Thank you for your honesty... makes the rest of us mums (SAHMS or working mum) feel like we're not alone/

By end of the day, it's all about your child and no one else. People can say whatever they want to say but we are the ones who are living our lives. Just stay strong (I know you will as always!) and things would work out eventually. My mom always tells me we go through the tough times now so that we can enjoy the good times later (I'm still waiting for the good times :D)

lots of hugs.. see you soon!

As the marriage vows go, for richer or poorer, in illness or health etc... so we are already plenty blessed that we have at least, a loving and decent man, a simple home, nourishing food, are decently clothed and don't need to beg to stay alive. A healthy baby is one of the (major) blessings, but not the sole reason why we should be try to be happy and not crappy all the time. Hey, the new year is still so young, long way to go woman, might as well cheer up by counting your many blessings.

You know, not many ppl actually see it this way. They dont see how by us not working, can help in any way. They think its just an excuse for us not to go back to work, an excuse for being lazy. I get it a lot too....from people telling me to go back to work, bla bla bla....and its absolutely annoying!

Hi Mabel,
I'm a brand new mummy (baby's 15 day old), and happen to chance upon your blog. Thank you for sharing your parenting experiences which are definitely useful for an unsure newbie like me! And I concur with many of your thoughts on parenting as well. I hope to be a SAHM (don't want to miss seeing my baby grow up), but undecided yet (yep, several factors to consider, just have to weigh the opportunity costs).
Keep it up and all the best to you!
