*sigh*

I miss you.

You know something? Reading about her life’s journey in a city I once (and still do, very much) call home makes me ache a lot.

I want to go back to…

…cheap, big, fat and yummy mangoes in December.

…thin slices of turkey, cheese and roast beef.

…sandwiches, smoothies and yoghurt.

…fresh lamb and beef all week long.

…cool days and quiet nights eight months a year (no mozzies, YAY!).

…seeing wild birds like the Cuckatoo, Rainbow Lorikeet, Crimson Rosella and Galah in my backyard.

quiet winter nights when I could get away with curling up on the couch with a hot cup of tea, comfy socks and a book.

…efficient and safe public transportation.

…big shady trees and clean crisp grass that I can lie down on.

…gorgeous Australian men – great for eye-candy!

…the delicious Ozzie accent. *swoons*

…when I first found home…and myself.

I just want to go back.
