NOTE: This kicks off the start of the recap of the few days when I was broadbandless. Enjoy.
…
But when times call for it, I guess I don’t really have much of a choice now, do I? Then again, it’s cranky PMS bitchy mood time, so heh. I’m still waiting for the aunt to come a-calling.
For a place that is hitting the 50s and about to go over the hill, we sure have a problem finding adults. Instead we get children masquerading as sane and sensible adults. The very same children in power. Don’t give me that crap about how 50 isn’t old and etc. There is such a thing called “learning from other people” which is something politicians in this country have a problem doing.
Umno is willing to risk lives and bathe in blood in defence of race and religion… – Malacca delegate Hasnoor Sidang Hussein
…when tension rises, the blood of the Malay warriors will run in our veins. – Umno Youth exco member Azimi Daim
Malay rights cannot be challenged, otherwise the Malays will run amok and May 13 will happen all over again in Kuala Lumpur – Terengganu Umno Youth information chief Razak Idris
Really, when the representatives of the majority utter words like that, how can you expect minority groups to not feel threatened? Nearly 40 years after May 13, and these politicians still haven’t learnt that threatening people is NOT the way to get them to vote for you…or stay in this country.
I’m packing up…because I need a place that preaches equality and freedom for all. I need a place that writes those things into the law. I need a place that walks the talk.
Please don’t sit on your chair and give me the same horrible baloney about serving your goddamn country and all that jazz coz I know that at the end of the day, you are no different.
I’m just being blunt.
