I first heard this song on Malaysian Idol when Nita sang it during one of the spectaculars. It was one of the more touching Malay songs that I have ever heard, especially when a woman sings it. The melody of the piano, the pain in the voice, the special touch of a sigh perhaps in sad relief…the question ‘why’ lingers throughout the song.
I suppose it has something to do with recent events and the past.
Anyway, I managed to secure the original mp3 of the song and in the process of getting the version sung by Nita…but it is a beautiful song.
