I plucked this from a thread in one of the MSN Groups that I have been part of for a few years now and decided to chew on some thoughts revolving around the topic of love.
As one forum-goer mentioned:
We talk about love, it is looking towards the loved one’s ultimate well being. In this context, consideration is a continuous thoughful and sympathetic regard towards the loved one. Giving because we can and because we want to – as it makes us happy to do so. Not because we want to satisfy some “expectation” place upon us. There is the difference, that which is implicit and that which is explicit. (to discover the context of his post, please click on the link above and read the thread from the beginning ^_^ btw, the topic was on expectations in romantic relationships, and love)
For me, I find his words interesting yet amusing – simply because there are two sides to it.
