These are for tomorrow’s orange almond cake cupcakes and if all goes well with the taste test on Thursday, the rest will be for my first cake order. It is just going to be for the hantaran but I’m planning to incorporate a little twist to the filling and frosting itself.

The bride-to-be has asked for a blue and white cake with primroses instead of the usual daisies and roses but I thought stark white is just too bright. So will most probably tone it down by using ivory and a lighter pale blue instead.

Piping these babies felt a little awkward at first because I haven’t touch my cake decoration stuff in ages. But once I got started, it was smooth sailing all the way! Now to get some rest and get back to other things like work…heh. Can’t wait till my last day, actually.
