After nine repeats and a night of blocking, well…I think I’ll let the pictures do the talking!

What do you do when you’ve finished a shawl, need a break and am bored?
Well, you’d do stuff like download brushes for Photoshop or work on some wedding-related stuff (if you’re getting married soonish) or cook…anything and everything BUT blogging. Yes, somehow I’m going through that phase again. I guess it’s a good sign.
What do you think?

Oh…my PC is back and in fantastic shape. Thankgawd for competent people!!!!!

Yes, Level I is done now! I’ve graduated will be moving onto Level II and here’s my first fully-decorated cake… I’m not really happy with the design bit though - mum insisted that she wanted a double happiness thing there and I had no choice but to pipe a very traditional shell border. Gack.

The cranberry is my new craze after oranges and lemon. If you’ve been following my blog, I have this love affair with these citrus babies and strawberries but after discovering dried cranberries at Chang Tung in Taman Megah, you could say that the cranberry is like how pink is the new black. I simply love the sour-sweet taste of these pink goodies!
Do note that the poppy seed used is of the blue poppy seed variety which is nonaddictive and not the same as the opium strain.

To take my mind off my stupid computer problems, I made buttercream roses over the weekend and yesterday. They have hardened in time for my last class on Thursday and well…I’m quite proud of these little babies. They don’t look very smooth but I dunno, it has a certain charm to it.

PC is fixed but guess what? My separate hard disk, the one containing all my documents, knitting orders, etc, etc…well, the stupid PC keeps on asking me to format that drive.
And the idiot at the shop keeps telling me that I should just format that drive. WTH. Do I have to freaking format my SEPARATE HARD DISK every time my system crashes or I change a new PC? Then why the hell would I need a separate hard disk in the first place?
:furious:

This was a very quick knit and therefore I went through it like a robot. The fact that my PC was dead helped as well…kekekeke! The yarn was an absolute gem - soft and smooth but not too slippery. I loved the sweet light candy pink colour and its post-blocking results were wonderful! It turned out a bit tad small but that’s mainly due to the number of repeats that I knitted. Would definitely use this yarn again (and I am!)!!!!

My “boot.ini” and “hal.dll” files are corrupted so no PC at home. Bah.
Luckily for a spare disk drive - I stored all my stuff in there - but the fact that I might have to reinstall everything annoys me.
BOOHOOOOHOOOO!
