Of the wrong choices and forgiveness…

“To err is human, to forgive is divine.”

Once an age old saying with plenty of meaning (still is for a good number of us) but somehow, along the way, as civilisations grew older, old sayings begin to lose their meaning.

Sometimes I wonder…

Is it really hard to forgive the errant? Is it really a bad thing to see someone do something else very different from us? Is it our position to tell others how to live their lives?

It started in a newpaper; I remember reading about it - didn’t really leave a mark - it was just another one of those cases…and then I read about it again here and here. Jeff’s post left me with particular thoughts about the choices we make in life and the choices we IMPOSE on other people in life. Not just about having babies or pre-marital sex, but about life itself and the many decisions we make along our journey.
